What should I expect from the tours?
Our tours are meant to be intimate and small. We have a maximum of 12 people per bus so they are not meant to be overwhelming. This is a guided tour so our guides are with you every step of the way. You may very well meet your new best friend from our tours. For the winery tour, expect to explore 2-3 wonderful wineries. We provide a tasting on the bus, a charcuterie board at the first winery and a little surprise gift at the end. For the history tour, expect to see some great historic sites and learn lots of tidbits about the area. This isn't just going to be a presentation. Our tours are interactive and meant to be fun. You can also explore some great shops in Tryon and Saluda.
How long are the tours?
The winery tour: Approximately 4 hours for the 2-winery tour and approximately 6 hours for the 3-winery tour
History tour: Approximately 2 hours
Custom tours: We have a maximum of 6 hours and we can add more hours if needed. The hours will vary depending on where you are looking to go.
What is your refund and cancellation policy?
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Refund requests must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled booking. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for a refund. However, if you are unable to attend due to illness, please contact us and we will gladly help you reschedule for a future date.
For custom tours, we will require a 50% deposit. Cancellations within 72 hours will receive 75% of the deposit back. Cancellations within 24 hours will receive 25% of the deposit back. We are also willing to reschedule so you do not lose your deposit as long as there is availability.
If there is a cancellation due to extreme weather or mechanical issues, you will be offered to reschedule or be refunded for the full cost.
Are food and drinks allowed on the bus?
We allow drinks from the wineries and breweries that we are taking you to. We are not allowing outside food and drinks. Bottled water is also provided on the bus.
What is the minimum number of people to operate the tour?
We require a minimum of 4 people on the bus to operate the tour. Should we have to cancel due to lack of bookings, we can either allow you to reschedule for a different date or provide a refund.
What is the age limit of the tours?
For the wine tour, we are requiring all passengers to be 21 years or older. For the history tour, we welcome passengers of all ages. If you have a baby, we encourage you to bring a car seat to secure them.
Are there discounted prices?
Our tours are already priced to be competitive. If there are special offers, we will announce it here. please don't forget to also follow us on our social media.
Are the tours wheelchair accessible?
We are currently not offering wheelchair accessibility at this time. However, that may change in the near future as we continue to work to improve our tours.
Will you run rain or shine?
We operate the tours rain or shine. The only time we may cancel would be for extreme weather (think Helene conditions) and we will always provide option to reschedule or refund if that is the case.
Are pets allowed on the tour?
To ensure comfort for everyone, we are not allowed to have pets on the bus. However, if you have a service animal, please give us a call prior to your tour at (828)722-1226. We require the service animal to be up to date on vaccinations and be certified but we do welcome service animals.
